The diffusion of marketing innovations across global markets has become a defining feature of contemporary international business strategy. Advances in digital technologies, global connectivity, and cross-border knowledge flows have accelerated the adoption of novel marketing practices such as influencer marketing, data-driven personalization, omnichannel retailing, and platform-based branding. However, the spread of marketing innovations is uneven across countries due to differences in culture, institutional frameworks, technological readiness, and consumer behavior. This paper examines the global diffusion of marketing innovations through the lens of diffusion theory, international marketing, and institutional perspectives. It analyzes key drivers, barriers, diffusion patterns, and strategic implications for multinational firms operating in diverse markets. The study concludes by outlining future research directions and managerial insights for effectively managing marketing innovation diffusion in a globalized economy.
