Abstract

Technology-enabled service delivery has emerged as a critical driver of competitiveness, efficiency, and customer satisfaction in global markets. Advances in digital technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), big data analytics, cloud computing, the Internet of Things (IoT), and mobile platforms have transformed how services are designed, delivered, and experienced across borders. This paper examines the concept, evolution, and strategic importance of technology-enabled service delivery in global markets. It explores theoretical foundations, key enabling technologies, service delivery models, and the implications for customer experience, operational efficiency, and firm performance. The study further discusses challenges related to cultural diversity, data privacy, cybersecurity, and digital inequality, while highlighting future research directions and managerial implications. Drawing on an extensive review of international marketing, service management, and information systems literature, this paper contributes to a holistic understanding of how technology reshapes service delivery in a globalized economy.
